Leez Priory Wedding Photographer – Sarah & Elliot’s amazing day
Leez Priory Wedding Photographer….
Elliot and Sarah’s wedding at Leez Priory took place on a windy day in June. I’ve shot at Leez Priory on several occasions and love it because it doesn’t rely on the weather. There’s lots of options if the weather isn’t great. We were lucky as the weather steadily improved through the day.
I started with Sarah’s preparations. She looked so amazing in her Vera Wang wedding dress! I used the mirrors in the very small dressing room to my advantage and used the different angles to widen the space.
The ceremony was quite hard to shoot, as I was sharing the space with a videographer! I did manage to get in close enough to capture some lovely moments during the wedding ceremony.
I decided that it was too windy to shoot the groups out in the open but still wanted to use daylight to light them. So I shot between the doors of the old coach house. It worked very well. When a stray gust of wind did catch us out and take Sarah’s veil, I decided to make it into a fun sequence of images.
As a Leez Priory Wedding Photographer, I like to take my couples for pictures at at the end of the drinks reception. This way, they do not spend too much time aways from their guests. It’s important to spend as much time having a fab time rather than posing. Elliott, Sarah and I had a wander around the grounds while the guests were taking their seats for dinner. Leez Priory will always give any wedding photographer lots of great options for pictures. The lake reflected the red brick of the building and the sunlight hitting it, made for a superb backdrop for us.
The speeches were really fantastic and everyone spent a good hour in stitches. After the couple’s first dance it was time to make my exit.
Elliot and Sarah were so much fun to work with and I wish them all the best for their future. Here are just a few of my favourite pictures as their Leez Priory Wedding Photographer…
