Chateau de Pouget Wedding
A Day Full of Moments & Joy
Hannah and John’s wedding at Chateau de Pouget was a whirlwind of activity that flew by in the blink of an eye. As the photographer, I was constantly on the move, capturing the myriad of moments unfolding throughout the day. The chateau itself is a stunning venue, offering numerous perfect backdrops for group and posed photos. The charm and beauty of this location added a magical touch to their wedding day.
Ceremony & Celebrations
The couple, blending their French and English roots with their Jewish heritage, married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the chateau. The kids were adorable, crowding around the stage to watch the proceedings, and the traditional breaking of the glass was a significant moment, symbolizing the finality of their union. After the ceremony, I arranged the group photos in front of a striking oleander, taking advantage of the natural setting to capture everyone together.
Reception and Entertainment
Post-ceremony, guests enjoyed a champagne reception in honor of the newlyweds, complete with a delightful selection of canapés. The entertainment was provided by Vogue Live, who kept the energy high throughout the day. The setting was then prepared for a stunning wedding breakfast, where I took the couple aside for some quick, natural portraits, staying true to my hands-off, storytelling photography style.

Dance floor Energy & Awards
As the evening progressed, the party kicked into high gear with vibrant Jewish dancing. Immersing myself in the action, I captured the lively expressions and movements, earning a Wedding Photojournalist Award for one of the images. The band, Vogue Live, was instrumental in sustaining the high energy on the dance floor.
