SOUTH OF FRANCE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

South of France Wedding Photographer - Kerry Morgan

I’m Kerry Morgan, a wedding photographer based in the South of France. I’ve photographed more than fifteen hundred weddings across Europe and bring a calm, relaxed approach to every celebration. My work blends natural documentary storytelling with elegant portraiture, shaped by more than twenty years behind the camera.

If you’d like to see how I photograph a full wedding day, you can explore recent wedding stories, where I share complete celebrations rather than highlights.

I studied photography at Bournemouth College of Art and Design in the late nineties, where I fell in love with visual storytelling. Since then, I’ve photographed weddings from London to New York and now call Occitanie home. The region’s light, landscapes and slower rhythm of life suit me perfectly, and I never tire of capturing its vineyards, villages and châteaux.

I’m fully registered and legally certified to work in France, which means everything is handled professionally and compliantly. There’s no risk of last minute complications, just a reliable, experienced photographer who knows the region and its venues well.

My approach is simple. You enjoy your day. I quietly photograph what unfolds. I guide you only when it helps, keeping group photos efficient and portraits relaxed so you never feel pulled away from the moment. I want you to look back and feel the atmosphere of your day, not the presence of a camera.

You can see a broader selection of my work in my wedding photography portfolio, featuring weddings photographed across Occitanie and the wider South of France.

Most of the couples I work with are travelling from the UK, Ireland or the United States to marry here in France. I understand how it feels to plan a wedding at a distance, so I help with light, timings and practical details that make a real difference. As a native English speaker who has lived here for over a decade, clear communication is something I prioritise.

If you’re still choosing a location, my guide to South of France wedding venues is a good place to start. It features venues I know personally and have photographed.

When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me hiking with my partner Ross, swimming in the Mediterranean, or enjoying oysters by the coast. I love early mornings, British humour, positive people, and the kind of small moments that make life feel lighter.

If you’re planning a wedding in the South of France and want photography that feels effortless, honest and beautifully composed, I’d love to learn more about your plans.
