Wedding at L’abbaye Chateau de Camon
A Family-Run Venue
Sophie and Joe’s Chateau de Camon Wedding was so much fun to shoot. Sophie and Joe chose L’abbaye Chateau de Camon for their wedding. They were drawn by its rich history and the personal feel that comes from being family-owned and operated. Unlike many venues in the South of France, this chateau offers a warmth that makes each wedding feel uniquely special. The couple, along with friends and family from around the globe, gathered in this historic setting. They all celebrated the love Sophie & Joe shared, making the day feel intimate and heartfelt.
Perfect Weather
The weather was ideal—about 28 degrees with clear blue skies—adding to the day’s perfection. The ceremony, conducted by the beloved and missed Celebrant Ray from Wedding Words and Wishes, was both poignant and beautiful. Following the touching ceremony, the festivities continued under the azure sky. The tables were exquisitely set in the chateau’s elegant dining area, creating a lovely atmosphere for the guests to enjoy the incredible food and celebrate with the newlyweds.
Memorable Moments
After capturing group photos, I spent some time with Sophie and Joe around the stunning grounds of L’abbaye Chateau de Camon, taking advantage of the picturesque backdrops the estate offers. The celebration continued into their wedding breakfast, announced joyously by Joe’s brother.
Annette Carr was in charge of Sophie’s hair. She wanted gentle waves to create a very Boho look.
Options Through-out the year
The chateau not only promises memorable settings for photos but also provides luxury accommodations and facilities like a swimming pool, a library with Wi-Fi, and beautifully terraced gardens. Available for exclusive use throughout the year, it accommodates up to 70 guests outdoors in summer and 50 indoors during the colder months, ensuring that each L’abbaye Chateau de Camon wedding is both grand and exclusive.
