beautiful vineyard venues in the South of France.
Château Les Carrasses is one of those venues that never loses its appeal. I’ve photographed many weddings here over the years and it always feels special. The light is consistently beautiful and the setting offers so much variety, from the cypress trees lining the driveway to the terraces, gardens and surrounding vineyards.
As the sun drops, the vines come alive. I usually take couples for a short walk during golden hour, often just ten or fifteen minutes. It’s a small pause in the day, but the soft evening light creates portraits that feel natural, romantic and timeless.
These are often the images couples end up framing.
Whether you’re planning something relaxed or a little more formal, the château works effortlessly. There’s a lovely balance of French elegance and easygoing warmth that helps everyone feel comfortable and present.

The Setting
Château Les Carrasses sits close to Béziers and Narbonne, right in the heart of the Languedoc. The château has been beautifully restored, combining the character of a historic estate with the comfort of a modern hotel. The grounds offer endless options for photographs, with lavender, lawns, shaded paths, the pool area and wide open vineyard views.
One of the things couples love most is having everything in one place. Many choose to stay for several days and turn their wedding into a relaxed weekend celebration. With space for around one hundred guests, the atmosphere stays personal and unhurried.
