Château du Puits es Pratx is a warm, character filled wedding venue set among vineyards in one of the sunniest parts of southern France. With its relaxed atmosphere, rustic details and thoughtful layout, it’s a place where weddings feel genuinely joyful rather than overproduced.
One of the things I love most about photographing weddings here is the variety of beautiful, natural spaces. The gardens and surrounding vineyards offer a wonderful backdrop for relaxed couple portraits, while the vineyard at the back of the estate is perfect for slipping away for a few quiet moments together. These are often the moments that feel most personal when couples look back on their photos.

The Setting
Château du Puits es Pratx has retained much of its wine making heritage, which gives the venue a lovely sense of authenticity. The old barn, now transformed into a reception space, features a restored wine press that doubles as a bar, adding a unique focal point to the evening celebrations. It’s one of those details guests always remember and it photographs beautifully.
Ceremonies can take place in the vineyards or nearby church, followed by drinks in the formal gardens. As the light fades, the courtyard is transformed with flowers and soft lighting, creating an intimate, cinematic atmosphere for dinner that feels relaxed and full of life.
