Villa Rouge Wedding Photography – Stephanie & Huw’s incredible Day
I have been itching to shoot a Villa Rouge Wedding ever since I met the owners Jonathan & Katarina a couple of years ago. It’s a truly stunning location and a they have transformed this beautiful property into a very desirable wedding venue.
Wedding Venue Near Carcassonne
It’s only 35 minutes from Carcassonne, so perfect for wedding guests flying in from the UK. Villa Rouge has it all. Beautiful accommodation to relax in, an amazing pool with stunning views and a cool bar to soak up the south of France rays.
The ceremony can take place outside, with guests looking out onto the beautiful views. This is was exactly what Stephanie and Huw did. However, if the weather had not been so amazing, the newly restored ballroom would have also been perfect.
Wedding Photographer Carcassonne
My goal when I shoot any wedding is to help my couples re-live their day through my pictures. I’m not bothered about loads of staged pictures, I want images that will transport the couple back to their day. It’s the most incredible day and it goes past in a blink of an eye. I want to create the story of what happened, so they have it forever.
I started with the guys getting ready.
So when I take my couple away for pictures, I work fast. This set took 15 minutes to shoot. I look for great light and lovely locations. Villa Rouge has lots of amazing spots for pictures.
I give clients gentle direction rather than anything cheesy.
