Seigneurie de Peyrat Wedding
Iris & Gabriel’s Rustic Vibes
Seigneurie de Peyrat Wedding
Iris and Gabriel’s Seigneurie de Peyrat wedding was one of those days where everything just felt right. Set in the heart of Languedoc, it was warm but not too hot, with a soft breeze moving through the trees. The kind of weather you secretly hope for — comfortable, golden, calm.
As I arrived, the atmosphere was already buzzing. Iris was getting ready with her closest friends, laughter spilling out of the room, glasses clinking, the usual pre-wedding nerves softened by excitement. There’s something special about that window of time just before everything begins — it’s always one of my favourite parts to photograph.
The Bride’s Style
Iris had nailed the perfect mix of elegance and ease. Her look wasn’t fussy or overdone — just effortlessly cool. She wore flat, pearly earrings, beautiful soft green sandals, and carried a matching fan. Her flowers by L’Atelier Fleur D’o were loose and natural, the kind you don’t have to fuss over. Everything about her style — like the day itself — felt thoughtful but relaxed.
The Courtyard & LAWN Reception
After the ceremony, the mood shifted in the best way. Drinks flowed and guests filled the courtyard and lawn, laughing, catching up, playing a fiercely contested game of boules under the trees. The whole place felt alive but never chaotic — just that easy flow that only happens when people feel truly comfortable. The canapés disappeared fast (always a good sign), and there was a real sense of everyone being exactly where they wanted to be.
GOLDEN HOUR IN THE VINES
Later, as the light softened, we took a quiet wander for portraits. The Seigneurie de Peyrat has these beautifully simple paths lined with trees and vines — nothing contrived or manicured, just real charm. I don’t over-direct these sessions. It’s more about giving couples space to be themselves, with just enough guidance to feel confident. The result? Natural, timeless portraits that feel like the couple, not just a pose..
A Venue With Character
A Seigneurie de Peyrat wedding offers something genuinely unique. The history here runs deep — Louis XIV is said to have stayed at the estate — but it never feels formal or intimidating. Cecile and her team do an amazing job of keeping the energy light and welcoming. The mix of heritage and warmth is hard to beat. You can feel the stories in the walls, but you’re also free to create your own.
Why I Love Shooting Here
If you’re thinking about having your wedding at Seigneurie de Peyrat, I honestly can’t recommend it enough. The setting is gorgeous, the light is always kind, and the whole place has this relaxed confidence that’s a dream to photograph. It’s a venue with real character, but it comes alive with the right touches — thoughtful styling makes all the difference here.
And if you’re looking for a photographer who knows the venue and works in a calm, unfussy way — I’d love to hear from you.

Congratulations!
