Saint Pierre de Serjac Wedding Photography
Lizzie & Andrew held their wedding at the beautiful Château Saint Pierre de Serjac, tucked into the vineyards of Hérault in the South of France. It was one of those days where everything felt easy — warm sunshine, great people, and a setting that never fails to impress. The château’s mix of rustic charm and modern elegance is ideal for couples who want the beauty of a luxury venue without the formality.
The couple got ready on-site, which is one of the best things about this venue. Everything is in one place — the suites, the ceremony, the meal, and the party — so there’s no travelling or stress. Just time spent with your favourite people in a really beautiful space.
Their guests arrived to soft sunshine and the sound of cicadas in the vines, drinks were served cold, and everyone just seemed instantly relaxed. As a photographer, that kind of atmosphere makes all the difference. You get real moments without having to force them.
As a wedding photographer based locally, I always enjoy working here. The staff are kind and professional, the light is lovely all day, and the grounds offer endless places for relaxed portraits without pulling couples too far from the action. It’s one of those rare venues that looks good in every direction — from the sweeping driveway to the olive trees to the open vineyard views. And the sunsets? Always worth catching.

The ceremony took place on the lawn in front of the château — a stunning, open space with the building as a perfect backdrop. It’s one of my favourite ceremony spots in the region: wide open, with lovely light and space for guests to feel included without being crowded. Lizzie & Andrew kept things simple, letting the setting speak for itself, and it worked beautifully.
Afterward, guests enjoyed drinks on the terrace — shaded, breezy, and close enough to the lawn that no one felt rushed to move on. This is something I love about a Saint Pierre de Serjac wedding: the whole day flows naturally from one part to the next, without needing buses or big transitions. It keeps the mood light and lets everyone stay present.
While guests sipped rosé and caught up, we wandered the grounds for portraits. There are so many lovely spots at Serjac that it never feels like a photoshoot — just a short walk and a few quiet moments away together. As a wedding photographer in the South of France, that relaxed energy is what I’m always aiming to preserve.

Dinner was held outside under the pagoda, with tables styled in a fresh garden feel — greenery and potted plants draped from the ceiling, creating a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. Long tables encouraged conversation, and soft lighting added a lovely warmth as the sun went down.
After the meal and speeches, the couple cut their cake just outside the cave, creating a natural transition into the evening party. Once inside, the mood shifted — the lighting, music, and layout all contributed to an atmosphere that felt like a private club.
One of the things that made this reception so memorable was the addition of signature cocktails. The couple created a short drinks menu with their favourites — including espresso martinis and spicy margaritas — which felt like a personal touch and added a sense of occasion. Guests loved it, and the bar was buzzing all night.
The DJs were excellent, reading the crowd and mixing just the right balance of newer hits with older favourites. If you’re planning your own Saint Pierre de Serjac wedding, choosing a DJ who’s confident without being overbearing is key. At this venue especially, where everything is in one place, the energy of the evening really depends on how well the music carries things along — and this one had people dancing until late.

Saint Pierre de Serjac wedding – Everything I love!
I’ve been lucky enough to photograph several weddings at Saint Pierre de Serjac, and each one has had its own unique feel. What makes this venue so special is the combination of elegance and ease — it looks incredible, but it never feels overdone or formal.
There’s also real flow to the day here. Couples can move from the ceremony on the lawn, to drinks on the terrace, to dinner under the pagoda, all without having to worry about complicated logistics. That means less stress and more time spent with the people you love — which always makes for better photos.
If you’re planning a Saint Pierre de Serjac wedding and looking for a relaxed, experienced photographer who knows the venue well, I’d love to hear more about your day. You can also browse more weddings at venues across the South of France or get in touch here to check availability.
