Cannizaro House Wedding
Kerry & Daniel’s fantastic Cannizaro House Wedding
It’s been a while since I’ve shot a Cannizaro House wedding, I think the last time I was there must have been ten years ago. They have made some big changes since I was there last, mainly the addition of the orangery. It fabulous. Great light and you feel light you are right in the heart of the beautiful parkland of Wimbledon.
Kerry and Daniel wanted relaxed story-telling coverage for their London wedding at Cannizaro House. Nothing too stuffy and pictures that would remind them of what an incredible day it was. I love to shoot for the joy of a wedding and I hope the happiness of the day really shines through.
Here are some of my favourites from their Cannizaro House wedding…
Kerry wrote her mum a very touching card of thanks.
Kerry carried with her a picture of her late father in her bouquet.
Guests look on as their friends get married at Cannizaro House.
Kerry and Daniel are greeted by their guest who blew lots of bubbles.
I loved Kerry’s choice of fresh greenery for her tables. Cannizaro House is set n the heart of Wimbledon parkland, the choice of centre pieces really made the outside come in. So simple too.
The stationary matched the style, simple and clean.
Guests chatted outside and drank champagne, the weather was warm but not hot.
Towards the end of the drinks reception, we spent ten minutes getting some relaxed portraits of the two of them. I choose gentle direction as opposed to anything cheesy because I still want my clients to be themselves. If I direct too much, they will simple remember that when they look at the images and not how they felt about each other. It’s hugely important to make this process as relaxed as possible to create a set of images they will love.
I love the colour and light in the spots I chose.
Love this one of them.
I really wanted to carry on Kerry’s theme in her pictures, so chose the green leafed background.
Kerry and Daniel make their entrance to applause.
Kerry’s brother gave a lovely speech
Loved the park backdrop during the speeches.
The crazy dancing continued all night!
Congratulations to Kerry and Daniel!
