Why I love shooting weddings at Château Les Carrasses
I have photographed many weddings here over the years and it never gets old. The light is always beautiful and there are so many great spots to use, from the cypress trees lining the driveway to the terraces, gardens and the surrounding vineyards.
The sunsets are amazing. I usually take couples for a short walk in the vines during golden hour. It only takes ten or fifteen minutes but it is always worth it. The light at that time of day makes everything look magical and gives you portraits you will want to frame.
Whether you are planning something laid back or more formal, the château works perfectly. It has a lovely mix of French elegance and easygoing warmth that makes everyone feel comfortable.
What makes the venue special
Château Les Carrasses is close to Béziers and Narbonne, right in the heart of the Languedoc. It has been beautifully restored with all the charm of an old château and the comfort of a modern hotel. The grounds are full of wonderful places for photos, with trees, lavender, lawns, the pool area and wide open views across the vineyards.
You can have everything in one place. Most couples stay for a few days and make a full weekend of it. The château can host around a hundred guests, which keeps the whole celebration personal and relaxed.
MY approach on the day
I photograph the day as it unfolds, focusing on the fun, the emotion and the real moments that make it yours. I will step in to guide you when needed but otherwise you will hardly notice me.
With more than a thousand weddings behind me, I know how to make things run smoothly and how to use the light at this venue to its best. You get a complete record of your day that is natural, flattering and full of life.
