Weddings at Hedsor House – Part one from dawn till dusk.
I’ve shot so many weddings at Hedsor House. It’s one of my all time favourite wedding venues. It has everything, a stunning interior, beautiful grounds and the staff are amazing. Whenever I’m there, I know it’ll be a great day. I also had the very great pleasure of working with Miss Isabel Smith, one of the UK’s top wedding planners. Her eye for detail and excellent planning skills make her very much in demand here in the UK. Plus she’s a lovely person and that makes it very easy to spend time with her on a wedding day. It’s not the first time I’ve worked with her on weddings at Hedsor House.
I had already had the pleasure of shooting Franziska & Alvaro. They booked a London engagement shoot with me. You can see it here. So we had already had a chance to get to know each other a little. I knew they were big photography fans and that I was going to be pushed to the limits on their wedding day. I shot for 13 hours. I was lucky that the lovely staff at Hedsor kept me fuelled with coffee!!
It’s for this reason, I’ve decided to split their day into two posts. It really was an incredible day and I gave it my all. I was also very lucky to have the very talented Guy Hearn second shooting. Guy is a good mate and an excellent wedding photographer. He doesn’t usually second shoot – so I was over the moon he agreed to come and lend a hand at Hedsor House. Guy also shoots at Hedsor House on a regular basis and we both know the venue like the back of our hands. We were a force to be reckoned with that day! A big thanks to Guy for all his hard work and incredible pictures (I owe you a big packet of wine gums).
Here are some of my favourites….
Antonia from Elle au Nuturel did a great job on hair and make up. It lasted all day.
Guy shot the boys, while I shot the girls.
I love this picture – don’t they look stunning!
