The Tithe Barn in Petersfield is such a pretty place to get married. The perfect mix of old and new. Set in the heart of the South Downs National Park. It’s a beautiful historic building in a glorious country setting. What I love is the way the barn has a traditional religious feel with it’s almost church like interior but it’s so much more relaxed. I love how the barn has been restored, it’s modern and bright inside. Guests are seating under the beautiful arched ceiling. There’s a view of the whole barn from the mezzanine above too.
After the wedding ceremony, there’s time for canapes and champagne on the lawns outside. The grounds are perfect with lots of scope for wedding photography. The pretty winding lane, the dappled light of the willows and the old gates and walls all make excellent backdrops. I like to shoot in a mostly documentary way. My clients are usually people who appreciate natural, relaxed photographs. I like using romantic soft light where possible.
Above all else I want my pictures to transport my clients back to that most amazing day. It flies by in an instant. You’ll want that day back more than any other. It’s my job as a Tithe Barn Wedding Photographer to give you that day back, through my pictures.
