The guests continued to sip champagne in Ely Place whilst the incredible caterers from The Bleeding Heart Restaurant created the most amazing meal for everyone to enjoy. I decided to take the opportunity to whisk Natasha and Dan off for some pictures. I’ve always wanted to shoot in the alleyways behind St Etheldredas but never managed it. The lesser know and well hidden The Mitre pub (the only pub in london with a Cambridge post code) is behind the church and it was there I decided to take Natasha and Dan for some images of just the two of them.
Wedding Photography The Crypt can be challenging because it doesn’t have a traditional outside space for images. That’s probably why I love it so much, you have to think outside the box. I really enjoyed shooting in the small alleyways. We had the occasion Camra Club member stumble past trying to find the pub! Good job it’s closed at weekends!
It was then back for more Wedding Photography The Crypt. It’s such a superb venue and I love shooting there. I used a mixture of low ambient light and I also used a little flash for some of the pictures. I liked balancing the two – it gave me the punch and feel I was looking for.
The couples cake was a Choccywoccydoodah.
I love the Crypt when it looks like this.
