Virginia Water Photographer – Natalie & Charlie’s stunning Wentworth wedding
The day continued with the speeches. Great for capturing moments and also shooting relaxed portraits. After speeches it was time for dinner served by the amazing Jacaranda. Their food is always top notch and today was no exception.
The evening continued with drinks and chatting and then it was time for the dancing! Dancing is quite difficult to shoot. You have a few different things to struggle with. The light of it; I like to get a nice balance between ambient light and flash to freeze movement. I tend to shoot with a high ISO and balance that with bounced flash. But because of the shape of the marquee (it was curved) the bounce was not even in all places. So I stuck to one side of the dance floor and kept adjusted the direction of the flash to get the right mix. The other thing is the dance floor is often busy and you have to be quite fearless to get amongst the action covering half your face with a big heavy object! It’s worth it though – party photos are the perfect way to end the story of the wedding day.
Here are some of my favourites from part three of this wedding – Virginia Water Photographer.
Charlie’s brother James starts his speech as bestman.
The marquee looked amazing from the outside.
Congratulations Charlie & Natalie. What an incredible day!!
