Stock Brook Country Club Wedding – Katie & Kevin’s Spring Wedding
I was really looking forward to Katie and Kevin’s Stock Brook Country Club Wedding. I have shot at Stock Brook Country Club on a few occasions. It’s a large exclusive club set on the outer fringes of the picturesque village of Stock. The manor house itself enjoys space and breathtaking views from every vista. It’s light and airy and has bags of space. This is great when shooting inside because all the guests are not on top of each other making it impossible to see everything. The amount of light that comes in through the large glass windows is brilliant, which means even on a dark day, you can create something.
The day started at Katie’s house where her and her bridesmaids were getting ready. They all looked stunning. I particularly liked shooting the images of Katie presenting the girls with their thank you presents. They were a close group and it was really emotional. Katie looked incredible and after some quick portraits it was off to the church to shoot the ceremony. The priest was great and let me shoot from the front. I much prefer shooting from the front, because you can see everyone’s facial expressions. It was a beautiful ceremony and Katie and Kevin did not stop smiling.
It was then back to Stock Brook Country Club for their wedding reception. I used the pretty apple blossom in their portraits. I always try and incorporate something from the season in my images. Orange leaves in autumn and of course blossom in spring!
The speeches were great to shoot because the light was so great, lots of fantastic expressions to capture. After the cake cutting the dancing continued long into the night.
Here are my favourites from their Stock Brook Country Club Wedding…

Beautiful Katie
