Hurlingham Club Wedding
Phoebe and Duncan’s Hurlingham Club Wedding was such a brilliant day to shoot. The day started for me at Phoebe’s family home in Fulham. Everyone was in a great mood, the champagne took a little of the nerves away, everyone chatted and laughed. The hair and make up was applied by the brilliant Spence & Oliver.
Meanwhile my shooting partner Mark Wallis shot the guys enjoying their ushers lunch at The Orange. If you have the budget, it’s a nice idea to have a second photographer (providing they are the same standard as the main shooter and not just a husband or wife dragged along or someone learning). Mark could cover the lunch, while I’m with the girls and also get lots of different angles in the church. While I’m shooting couples portraits and groups he is shooting the guests at the drinks reception. It makes sense for bigger weddings too.
Here are some of my favourite pictures from their Hurlingham Club wedding…

The guys make their way to the church. The beautiful Saint Mary’s on Cadogan Street SW3 London, just around the corner from Sloan Square.

Duncan greets his guests

Everyone wait’s patiently for Phoebe’s arrival.

I loved the beautiful light in the church doorway.
The light inside the church was beautiful.

I got into the wedding car, so we could get back to the Hurlingham Club before the guests and get their portraits done quickly.
I think it’s really important that my clients spend the maximum time possible enjoy their wedding and their time with friends and family. That’s why all my groups and couples pictures are shot quickly and beautifully.
The gardens at The Hurlingham Club were simply stunning. The spring blossom made a good backdrop.

Loved the couple’s personalised cocktail sign.
