Hedsor House Indian wedding – Part 2 of Simi & Amar’s amazing day

After the ceremony and the portraits, it was time for the meal and speeches. I love shooting speeches. You can find so many emotions depending on who is giving the speech and at this Hedsor House Indian wedding it was no exception.
After their meal and speeches the couple held their Chunni ceremony in the drawing room. This is when friends and family offer a blessing to the couple and a gift. Simi was presented with a beautiful Chunni scarf and everyone flocked to bless them. It was a lovely thing to shoot.
We made some more time for portraits later in the evening when the light was softer. If you can put an extra portraits session (ten minutes is fine!) into the schedule, it’s worth it. You get variety in your pictures and another location. It’s well worth doing if you can.
