Court Lodge Barn Wedding
Court Lodge Barn Wedding – Kent Wedding Photographer – Rebecca & Steven
Rebecca & Steven’s Court Lodge Barn wedding was probably one of the strangest days for weather I’d ever shot. As a Kent wedding photographer you get used to dealing with all kinds of weather but most of the time, it doesn’t happen all on the same day!
The day started with drizzle, moved on to torrential rain and by the end of the day at their Court Lodge Barn wedding we had glorious sunshine. They certainly have a great deal of variety in their pictures. Despite the terrible conditions before and after the ceremony, at their pretty church in Stonestreet Kent, everyone had big smiles on their faces and the rain didn’t spoil a thing.
The couple’s Barn wedding reception was decorated with the most gorgeous flowers. Everything had a relaxed country feel to it and it worked really well. Rebecca looked totally gorgeous!
My favourite parts of the day were the wedding ceremony in Stonestreet, it was a beautiful church and the vicar let me know shoot from an amazing position – shooting from the front is always great for capturing the connections between people. The speeches were also brilliant – well written, touching and funny and I got lots of great expressions and stories while shooting. Lastly the shoot I did with Rebecca and Steven at the back of the Barn – we found a stunning wild flower garden and the light was just perfect, low and golden – my favourite!
It was the first time I’d shot a Court Lodge Barn Wedding – surprising as I live 20 minutes away! I really hope I get to shoot there again it was stunning.
Here are a few of my favourite pictures from their Court Lodge Barn Wedding…
Congratulations Rebecca & Steven!
