Botleys Mansion wedding photography – Charlotte and Neil part 2
At the end of the drinks reception the rain eased off for a few minutes and we nipped outside to take some portraits. I always tell my clients not to worry about rain, it very rarely stays all day. It’s best to be flexible and take your opportunities when you can. The rain started again as I was shooting, so we opted for some beautiful portraits inside using window light.
Before Neil and Charlotte entered the room, I shot some pretty details of the room at Botleys Mansion. The speeches were probably my favourite part of the day! There were some excellent speakers. It was fun shooting all the funny reactions. My second shooter Jo Tennant (thanks Jo!), got the tables towards the back of the room while I concentrated on the front.
After the speeches we made a bit more time for Botleys Mansion wedding photography as the rain had kindly stopped again – albeit for just a few minutes!! The light was fab and the stormy sky made for some lovely pictures. It was then time to party and Charlotte and Neil had a brilliant band for their guests to dance to.
