La Porte Des Indes & Asia House Wedding – Simone & Gaurav in the heart of London
Simone and Gaurav wanted a simple wedding with friends and family in the heart of London. Their Asia House Wedding was just perfect. Simone got ready close by, whilst Gaurav met friends in a pub just around the corner. The ceremony was full of smiles and the couple left under a rain of bubbles. Everyone knows that when shooting a wedding in central London, you are limited with outside space. So we decided that I would walk with the couple to their reception at La Porte Des Indes and shoot images along the way while the guests were taken by a London bus. It was fantastic as we found a little mews just around the corner from their Asia House Wedding. The mews was small and quiet but it had some lovely features to work with and the light was beautiful.
I have never been to La Porte Des Indes before. It’s quite a surprise! Looks tiny from the outside but is huge when you go in, complete with waterfall! The food was sensational to. So onto the images…I really enjoyed shooting these pictures and I hope you enjoy them to!
I know Simone is frowning here and looks a little stressed but i still love this image. It reminds me of some of the fashion images I loved in the 90s. She looks very cool.

Married!

We did this fun group just around the corner from Asia House.

While all the guests were transported to the reception at La Porte Des Indes, we took the opportunity to grab some pictures along the London streets and a nearby pretty Mews.
It was really important for the couple to have images which screamed London. It was there home and firmly where they hearts are.

The back of Simone’s dress was just amazing.

The Mews was perfect for simple portraits.

This last image made me smile, baby sorted, beer sorted. Congratulations you lovely pair! I hope you’ll be so happy in your new life together.
