About me

At Bournemouth College of Art & Design, I specialised in Fine Art photography, initially aiming to be a fine art photographer. I exhibited my work across Europe. However, like many artists, I found that passion alone doesn’t pay the bills.

Wedding photography was often associated with older gentlemen in tweed jackets, taking ages to capture stiff, posed shots outside churches. I knew if I was going to pursue this path, I had to do it my way.

It led to me becoming one of the first women in the UK to shoot weddings in a documentary style. I started focusing on capturing the authentic story of the day with minimal group shots. This approach quickly gained recognition, with features in major UK wedding magazines, front covers, and numerous blogs, leading to opportunities worldwide. I’ve shot weddings all over Europe, Thailand and even Kazakhstan.

My expertise led to writing a book on documentary wedding photography, which became an Amazon best-seller. This journey has finally brought me to the south of France, a place I now call home, where the beautiful light and scenery create magical weddings.
