Rye wedding photographer – Saint Mary’s church wedding
Rye wedding photographer – Saint Mary’s Church Wedding – Hannah & James The Gallivant Hotel
When Hannah and James first decided to commission me to shoot their wedding months and month ago, I was so chuffed. Not only do I adore Rye, it’s a place close to my heart but I had never shot at the stunning Gallivant Hotel on Camber Sands before. It had been on my hit list for a while! As a Rye wedding photographer I have shot many weddings at the Town Hall and of course at the George but it was also my first time shooting at the beautiful Saint Mary’s church in Rye. Wow, what a place. I’d visited as a tourist before, it’s the amazing church in the center of Rye on top of the hill. The The Revd Canon David Frost was brilliant and allowed me to shoot pretty much what ever I wanted as long as I was discreet and didn’t use flash – pretty much perfect for me and the curate Revd Graham Atfield even pointed out the best spots, which was so refreshing! All in all, if i could shoot in Mary’s Church in Rye every week, I’d die happy.
The shoot started with Hannah and her bridesmaids getting ready at The Gallivant. Hannah looked incredible in her Jenny Packham dress. Once again, I have split the post into two parts, as there was just so much that I loved and I wanted to share as much as I could on the blog.
Here are my favourites…
I love shooting for emotion and expressions.
