Gemma and Neil’s Leez Priory wedding was bathed in the most gorgeous autumn sunshine.  It was unseasonably warm – which always helps when you’ve planned a winter wedding!

The day started with Gemma’s preparations at her parents house where Gemma got ready with her bridesmaids.  The girls wore the most stunning dark blue dresses.  It was then off to the church for the couples ceremony.  The light was fantastic all day and I had such a lot of fun shooting.

The wedding reception at Leez Priory was stunning.  I’ve shot wedding pictures at Leez Priory on lots of occasions and it was good to be back.  We made the most of the winter sunshine and wandered around the grounds for pictures.  I enjoyed using the combination of stunning colours and beautiful light in Gemma and Neil’s photographs.

Gemma looked amazing and I loved her lace jacket and soft pretty hair.  Gemma wore a yellow diamond necklace – a family heirloom and bought some stunning yellow diamond earrings to wear with it.

As a Kent wedding photographer I get to travel all over the world shooting weddings.  My journey this week took me to Essex for the wedding of Poppy & Rob.  It had been 2 years in the making and I was really excited to be shooting their big day.  I was working with my all time favourite wedding planner Bernadette Chapman from Dream Occasions.  Any wedding where Bernadette is involved always looks completely incredible!  They couple also chose Beverly from Jades flowers – my very favourite florist.  Her work is so inspiring and creative.  So long before the day arrived, I knew it was going to be something very special.

One thing that was a surprise to me was how emotional the day was.  It was a lovely thing to be part of and to capture.  Poppy and Rob both looked incredible.  Poppy told me at the beginning of the day, that she didn’t photograph well.  It always makes me smile when I hear this, I just think – You just haven’t met the right photographer yet!  Being a Kent Wedding Photographer and shooting weddings is all about telling a story and making people look good!  I loved shooting Poppy, her style was beautiful and she had such a lovely way about her – she was very easy to shoot.

Check out the amazing styling at this wedding – I loved the unusual orchid center-pieces and the couple’s personal logo (made from their combined love of horses and hunting).

Claudia & Mark’s Gosfield Hall Wedding in Essex was a wonderful day.   July had been very touch and go when it came to the weather but luckily the rain stayed away for their day and we even had some beautiful evening sunshine.  Lots of friends and family celebrated with them at their gorgeous Gosfield Hall Wedding.

The couple tied the knot in the nearby Gosfield church and unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed to shoot much during the ceremony (although I did manged to sneak a few in from the back!).  I photographed there before and was suprised by the new restrictions – never-the-less, I thoroughly enjoyed their Gosfield Hall Wedding! 

Claudia looked so amazing and spent the whole day with a big grin on her face.  They were a great couple to work with and we had so much fun on the day.

I’ve shot at Gosfield Hall a few times and it’s a lovely venue.  The impressive house and grounds make it a perfect place for friends and family to relax and enjoy the day.

Sally and Chris got married at the church near Gosfield Hall and held their wedding reception at GosfieldHall.  The weather wasn’t particularly kind – very fine rain!  But never the less we made time for pictures outside.  White umbrellas and the shelter of trees helped keep the rain away.
