As anyone who follows this blog will know – I LOVE shooting weddings but I especially love shooting them when the clients are big fans of my work. I knew Lisa was a big fan when she told me she couldn’t decide what she was most excited about – the groom or the photography!
Lisa and Matthias had planned a relaxed day and built in plenty of time for pictures. They were married at Chelsea Register Office in a simple ceremony with close family and friends followed by a visit to Hyde Park for some photographs of the two of them. Their reception was held at the French restaurant The Cheyne Walk Brasserie. Lisa’s choice in colour was sublime – I loved the combination of Tiffany blue with red. It worked beautifully with the existing interior of the venue. Matthias is French and his influence was apparent in their choices of champagne, wines and of course the menu. The food was very special! Overall, it was such an amazing day and I could have posted hundreds of pictures which I loved but I have cut them down to just a few…. Enjoy!

Lisa’s amazing shoes were from Gina

Lisa wore the most incredible Louis Mariette headpiece

Lisa’s floral arrangements were all by Wild at Heart

Poor Spencer had dislocated his toe and was limping around Lisa’s flat. He looked very dapper in his diamond collar!

Spencer – relaxing with a magazine

Lisa looked absolutely stunning in her Ines di Santo dress

The blossoms were out in Hyde Park and they gave us some beautiful backdrops

Matthias wore a Richard James tuxedo and his tie was from Turnbull and Asser
Thanks to the chauffeurs who ferried us all around all day and waited so patiently.

Lisa and Matthias had their first date at The Cheyne Walk Brasserie. How cool is that colour scheme!

The cake was from The Hummingbird Bakery

This is my favourite image of the day – it’s like a scene from a film (the kind of film you could watch over and over again!).

Congratulations Lisa & Matthias!
