Charlotte & Simon’s wedding took place at St John the Baptist church in the pretty village of Alresford in Hampshire with the reception held at Longwood Shooting Lodge. Charlotte’s preparations started at a nearby hotel where I began the shoot. Charlotte got ready with her two bridesmaids Fi and Karen and they were chatting away to Charlotte whilst she her hair and make up artist worked away. A very relaxed way to start the day - with a glass of champagne and some delicious sandwiches.
It was a struggle to choose images for the blog as their were so many pictures and lots of little details I loved. I’ll start, of course, with the gorgeous shoes!

Married!

Charlotte & Simon’s wedding transportation was this gorgeous little blue camper van – how cute is that?! Inside the cream leather seats were decked out with soft cushions and petals.

Charlotte’s relaxed, country style was reflected inside the marquee. She made all of the bunting herself – it must have taken her months! Very pretty.

The girls short dresses were really cute.

I love subtle humour in pictures and this one made me smile a lot!

This is my favourite of the day, about half an hour before in started to rain.

Congratulations Charlotte & Simon
