Natasha and Adam chose Kaprun in Austria to tie the knot. Just a few close friends and family made the trip to the gorgeous little town of Kaprun. The whole day had such an intimate feel and I had such a blast with everyone – what a lovely crowd. It’s always a little more nerve-racking shooting a destination wedding but I’d go back to Kaprun in a heartbeat, it was a very special wedding in a very special place.
Nestled high in the mountains, the weather had its fun with us. It rained. Stopped. Rained again. Stopped again and then there was bright sunshine for their roof top drinks reception.

Some may say I have a love for shoes but judging by this image, I’d say it was more of a worship

The couple took their guests to the ceremony on this vintage bus; a one of a kind.

After the ceremony the vintage bus took us down to the lake for some champagne and photographs. During the shoot, it started to rain. I loved it. The clouds were so dramatic and few things beat romantic umbrella shots

We travelled back to the hotel Sport Kristall for a blessing from the local priest. The blessing was supposed to be on the roof but due to the rain, we stayed inside. Shortly after the blessing the sun came out and it was really warm. The wedding planners, Rita and Karen had hung a cloth with the couple’s names inside a heart that Natasha and Adam then had to cut out. The first pair of scissors to the middle of the heart meant that person would have the upper hand in the marriage – bad luck Natasha!

It was an amazing place to have a drinks reception, 360 degree views of the mountains!

I couldn’t resist stealing these shots of Adam and Natasha getting a breath of fresh air after the speeches.

I love this picture of Natasha – the candle light in the room was really gorgeous.
The next day my flight wasn’t until late afternoon, so we managed to squeeze in a day- after session of pictures….a cable car trip over 3000 ft up with stunning mountain scenery. I’ll be blogging them next week!

Congratulations Natasha & Adam!
