Penny and Paul had a gorgeous sunny day for their February winter wedding. Their ceremony was held at the very beautiful St Brides Church Fleet street.
I arrived at the church and spoke to Paul. When I asked him if he was nervous, he replied that he wasn’t nervous as he knew without a doubt in his mind that he was doing the right thing. I think that summed up the whole day to me, Penny and Paul were just right for each other.
I really enjoyed shooting their wedding and the day flew by. I’ve worked at One Whitehall Place on lots of occasions, it’s a fantastic venue to shoot at.
Anyway, on to the pictures!

Penny’s something blue was a pretty, antique pocket watch which she had been given for her 21st. She pinned it to her bouquet.

A few people were gathered outside the entrance of St Brides to see Penny arrive in her vintage Rolls Royce. Penny’s stunning dress was by Caroline Parkes

David, the verger, was a great guy and whispered to me before the ceremony that if I liked he’d let me shoot from the minstral’s gallery during the first hymn. I clambered up a very small dark winding stone staircase to the gallery above. What an amazing view it was, it’s lucky I’m OK with heights! One of things I love about being a wedding photographer is having access to areas that I may otherwise never see.

Married!

I love this shot of Penny and Paul.

Penny’s cake was made by a friend and looked fantastic.

The guests danced the night away to the music of E2, available through the Alive Network.
Congratulations Penny & Paul!
