The most romantic day of the year and a wedding at St Paul’s Cathedral - does it get much better than that? I had the most amazing day with Kevin & Julie.

Killer Heels. Gold Diors. Ouch!

Being a distinguished MBE meant Julie could marry at St Paul’s Cathedral and the wedding took place underneath the main part of St Paul’s in The Chapel of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. The vicar was quite strict on me and only allowed pictures during the first hymn and the signing of the register.

Married!

Kevin & Julie’s reception after the service was held at Stationers Hall. I’ve photographed here before but had forgotten how great it is to shoot in. The Great Hall is stunning.
Julie & Kevin were both from Yorkshire & Lancashire and named their long tables The Red Rose of Yorkshire and The White Rose of Lancashire with a table called the Pennines in the middle. So even though Julie had married someone from “The wrong side of the Pennines” as she said it in her speech – luckily no war of the roses occured!

Julie & Kevin’s wedding cake was made up of lots of delicious individual desserts. There were five different flavours. I had the most amazing chocolate one – it was to die for!

This little flower girl was so cute, she was fasinated with my camera and loved seeing her picture in the back.

Earlier in the day, it had been impossible to get a decent shot of St Pauls Cathedral without the whole area being full of tourists, buses and the hussle and bussle of the area. So I decided to stop on the way home when the building would be lit up and quiet. I think it was well worth it!
Congratulations Kevin & Julie!
