See Kerry Morgan Photography in the March/April addition of You & Your Wedding.
It’s always exciting to be featured in the real life wedding section of a bridal magazine as it gives more people a chance to see the work I do and am so passionate about. It also serves to give inspiration to brides planning their wedding days.
Most of the work on my blog is centered around telling a very brief story of the couples day, not only so the bride and groom themselves can have a peek at a sample of their pictures while on honeymoon but so all of those who follow my blog can see what I’m up to.
This post is slightly different as I want to share more of the details shown in You & Your Wedding this month. Editors often have tough decisions on what to choose – lucky for me I don’t have page or layout constraints and I know you girls LOVE the details! So I’ve decided to show more of what I shot on Caroline & Guy’s Fantastic wedding day.
There are another couple of reasons for shouting about Caroline & Guys day, the first is the fantastic Bernadette Chapman of Dream Occasions. A well know industry expert in all things wedding, Bernadette’s wonderful attention to detail is showcased here to the max! If your the sort of person that wants to lie back and be pampered before hosting any event, be it a wedding, party or intimate dinner hire a wedding planner!!! They can do the organising and you can relax knowing it’s all taken care of. Good planners are worth their weight in gold but do your research, a bad wedding planner (and I’ve seen a few!) will be as useful as a chocolate teapot – just because they’ve planned their own weddings – it doesn’t mean they can plan yours. Anyway, I’ll be doing more on wedding planners very soon, so keep an eye out!
The second reason I wanted to show you this wedding is the weather – remember the summer? Just look at the flowers, the pretty summer dresses and people without 10 layers of clothing keeping them warm - it won’t be long now and the days will get warmer! It’s hard to think of lovely summer days when it’s so cold. I thought this wedding was the perfect way of cheering us all up! I’m sure it won’t be minus 10 for long!!
Enjoy!

There was so much confetti I could barely see them under all the rose petals!

Everyone tucked into delicious ice creams from this cute trike outside the church. The guests loved them!

It was spitting a little outside, so I took the Caroline & Guy under the shelter of this little canopy, I love the soft light in this picture.

Caroline’s mum hung childhood pictures of the Bride, Groom, Best man and Bridesmaids from the fence posts. Some were very cute – others intentionally embarassing! Good fun.

The pathways around Caroline’s mum house were lined with lit lanterns and the pretty cystals hanging from the trees caught the light and twinkled.

The tables were so gorgeous! Pretty teapots, teacups, roses, ivy and beads!

Caroline’s stationary complemented her vintage/english tea party look.

I’ve seen these candlesticks in Laura Ashley.

There was a really cool chill out area away from the dancing which featured a juke box.

Outside these fire baskets were dotted around – great touch as the night got chiller and they were a great way of lighting the walkways.

So let me list all the people who made Caroline’s day such a fantastic inspiration!
