Nottingham Wedding Photographers – Part One of Marie-Pier & Neil’s Nottingham wedding photography

Neil and Marie-Pier’s Newstead Abbey Wedding was one I’d been looking forward to.  I didn’t meet them before the day because they both lived in Canada.  Neil and I exchanged many emails in the run up to the wedding.  I knew that their photography was very important to them.  I travel all over the country and  this week I made an appearance as a Nottingham Wedding Photographers.

I always love it when clients have a passion for photography.  It’s a big compliment that they trust me to be their eyes for the day.

The thing that struck me about Neil and Marie-Pier, was the way they laugh with each other.  They are obviously so happy in each others company.  They spent the whole day laughing and smiling.  It was so sweet!

I decided to divide this post into two parts, there was too much to show in one post.

The day was separated into two sections. The first part was held at the gorgeous Newstead Abbey.  The couple tied the know here in it’s tiny chapel.  They then held a drinks reception for their guests.  They also took the opportunity to wonder through the pretty grounds for pictures.  I had a lot of fun with them!

I took a variety of portraits of Marie-Pier. She looked so elegant.

This is probably my favourite of the set. It reminds me of a painting.

I love the feel of this picture

The light at the end of the tunnel was great. Finding good light is half the battle when taking pictures.
