Krabi wedding photographer – Part five – The day after shoot
Krabi wedding photographer – The day after shoot at The Rayavadee Resort Thailand
One thing I suggest to all my couples is to have a portrait session the day after the wedding, especially if you’re having a destination wedding in a far flung part of the world. It makes the absolute most of the time you have there.
This session was pretty different from the rest of the coverage, I tend to shoot in a very romantic way but as we already had lots of that kind of work in the bag, I decided to shoot this session in a more dynamic way. I wanted it still to be romantic but have much more drama. The big day was over and now it was time to do something just for fun.
The session, shot in the caves behind the Rayavadee resort, took about an hour and we shot most of it in the caves. The one thing we had to be careful of was the monkeys! Suzanne, my second shooter and I had gone there earlier on the week to scout for possible locations and we were harassed by some monkeys who decided, they quite liked the look of my camera bag. Luckily we got away unharmed but I was very conscious of the same thing happening – so we travelled light and I took just two lenses out. I’ve included said monkeys in this post!
The mood inside the caves was very different from the rest of locations we’d shot in so far and I really liked look and feel of the location.
