Bruisyard Hall wedding
Bruisyard Hall wedding – Natalie & Stephen’s stunning vintage styled wedding – Part 2
When the guests arrived for Natalie and Stephen’s Bruisyard Hall wedding they were treated to cocktails in tea cups! I did worry for a minute that I was at my first dry wedding!! Thankfully not! The wonderful florals and vintage styling was all beautifully arranged by Revival Rooms. Pretty antique chairs, old china and used palettes gave the wedding a wonderfully rustic feel perfect for a barn wedding.
Next in store for the guests at Natalie and Stephen’s Bruisyard Hall wedding was the cake cutting. I always wonder why so many couples leave their cake cutting until after the meal when all the guests are stuffed to the brim and a lot of the cake gets wasted. The couple served their cake during the drinks reception with little scones and sandwiches. This really went very well, not only did everyone enjoy the cake but along with the tea cups, made for a delightful afternoon tea.
I love shooting really natural pictures that tell a story and I continued shooting throughout the afternoon. I also took the couple away for 15 minutes to shoot some beautiful portraits of them. Natalie and Stephen were really easy to work with and I had such good light, they made my life easy.
Here are some favourites from part two of their Bruisyard Hall wedding….
I love to shoot elegant looking groups. You don’t need them to take ages, and it’s nice to have just a handful, you are not often together in all your finery! These are a couple I shot of family.
Stephen’s dad read the most beautiful poem out for his son. I defy any parent to hear it and not shed a tear. I’m just lucky I have a big camera that hides my face!!
